a bit of fun...

I recently found a very sweet, little blog when I was {believe it or not} googling for pixie haircuts. Lisa from It Keeps Getting Better had her hair cut super short last November. Of course it was all in the name of haircut research that I read Lisa's posts about her new do, but then I found myself enjoying her writing and video's so much that I just kept reading... and watching!

Then the other day I received a comment back from Lisa {on my birthday, no less} saying she'd given me the Kreativ Blogger Award. How lovely is that? Not the award part persae, but to have someone acknowledge they enjoy reading your blog and post it up for all their readers to see? I think it's waaaay sweet and I'm very happy to pass on the love to my favourite bloggers too! I don't mind if they don't keep the award chain going, I just wanted to acknowledge them and let them know I very much enjoy their web spaces...

Very hard to choose, but I do love U2's Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses.

Swedish cinnamon buns... yum. 

3. What ticks me off:
People who like to make life difficult for others, just because it's within their power to do so. 

4. When I'm upset I:
Depending on what/who's upset me, I'll either get very vocal or get very quiet. 

5. What's your favorite pet:
My childhood cat, Fluffy. He was a pale ginger tabby and was the most "doggy" cat I've ever met. You know how most cats are very aloof? Well he was very affectionate, used to follow me everywhere, was very gentle and seemed to have a sixth sense to give me cuddles whenever I was upset. 

6. Black or white:
Black 

7. Biggest Fear:
Not being prepared or on time for important events. 

8. Everyday attitude:
Life is good. I'm very fortunate. 

9. What is perfection:
Watching my kids laughing and having fun together. 

10. Guilty Pleasure:
Sitting quietly by myself with a cup of tea and a good book!

Because it is really late {or early depending on your point of view} and I'm tired I've listed a really lame {but true} seven randoms thoughts. Here goes...

1. I'm very allergic to cats, but I love them... yes, I'm a cat person.
2. My favorite fragrance is J'Adore by Dior.
3. I would love to be a librarian or work/own a bookstore.
4. Like Lisa I have incredibly long arms {I call them monkey arms} and tops are usually too short for me.
5. I can't stand touching raw chicken.
6. I long to visit old romantic places in Europe like Juliet's balcony in Verona.
7. I have plans to get at least three more tattoos
